Christine E. Ellis is a London-based artist. Her work has been exhibited by the RI., ROI., RBA., RSMA., SWA., Pastel Society, NEAC., and the Discerning Eye, gaining a number of awards. It has twice been exhibited with the Lynn Painter/Stainer Prize Exhibition in London.
She exhibits paintings and sculpture annually with the Chelsea Arts Society in Chelsea.
Her most recent solo exhibition was at Garrick’s Temple, Hampton by invitation of the TempleTrust.
Her sculpture in papier-machée of Jane Carlyle is on permanent display at Carlyle House, Chelsea (N.T). Her life-size portrait sculpture of ‘Jim Coconut’ is at Burseldon Brickworks Museum.
She has served as ‘Artist in Residence’ at Chartwell (N.T.); The All England Club, Wimbledon; The Arts Educational School, Chiswick; and Christ’s School, Chelsea.
Her work is in private collections across Europe and, also, in Canada, U.S.A., Australia and Japan.
She is a member of the Society of Authors (SOA) and an Associate of the Drama Board (ADB). Her book ‘Poems and Such-Like’ was published in 2012 and is available on Amazon.
